Deshawn

Deshawn Watson is a 16 year old sophomore at Carlmont High School. Deshawn enjoys skateboarding and playing sports such as basketball and football. Aside from athletics, Deshawn also enjoys photography, mainly taking pictures of his family and friends. Because of his love for sports, after high school, Deshawn plans to attend Florida State, Texas Tech or Cal Berkley on a full athletic scholarship. In 10 years, Deshawn sees himself working as a barber in a self owned barber shop.

Ayela Theo James is a 14 year old freshman at CAVA, an online virtual academy. She was born in San Francisco, California but raised in East Palo Alto, California where she currently lives with her parents, siblings and dogs. As a child Ayela and her younger sister performed various songs for her family. Her love for performing has led to her dream of becoming a well-known performing artist. Before pursuing her dreams, Ayela plans to finish high school and attend college, graduating with honors.

Epiffani Hampton was born and raised in East Palo Alto, California where she still resides. A 17 year old Junior, she attends CAVA, an online virtual academy. Her favorite school subjects are Algebra 2, Biology, and Spanish. After high school she plans to go college and graduate with a nursing degree. She  also plans to study performing arts with hopes of becoming a singer or actress. In her spare time she enjoys talking on the phone, doing hair, and blogging on Myspace. 

Gabriela Capi, better known as Gabby, is a 15 year old freshman at Carlmont High School. After high school, she plans to attend college where she will study business accounting. Gabby enjoys partaking in extracurricular programs. She is currently part of BUILD, College Track and HHH (History through Hip Hop). On her free time she enjoys playing sports, dancing and singing. In the future, Gabby plans to travel the world so she can learn about different cultures.
